Fully aware of the many factors that influence the character of an authentic wine, at Domaine Neumeyer each individual element is taken into consideration and, as far as possible, optimised. In the vineyards, each plot is managed in accordance with the principles of organic winegrowing, with surface tilling, green cover with native flora, hand-picking and selection of grapes, plot selection and measured yields. In the wine cellar, soft pressing, sorting table, minimalist vinification at the discretion of the winegrower, indigenous yeasts and long ageing on lees are all techniques that we employ to maintain the raw potential of grapes picked at perfect ripeness.
On our own local scale, the entire family involved in Domaine Neumeyer aspires to offer top quality wines of character that best represent the potential of our vineyards, which are situated in the three Alsatian villages of Molsheim, Mutzig and Avolsheim.
